release time:2020-08-08 | article source:

This year's Amazon holiday event came earlier than expected, with many sellers rushing to prepare Q4 materials. Events from the start of the New Year to the present may have left some sellers stranded, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Here are some of Amazon's new rules, including how Brexit will affect sellers, tax rebates, promotions and more. These new rules may present sellers with opportunities rather than obstacles.

Exclusive discounts for Prime members

Amazon previously announced that it would give more help to sellers on Q4.

If a buyer USES an exclusive Prime membership discount, they will see details of the purchase on the checkout page (including 'You received x% extra discount as a Prime member').

These related orders will also be shown in PrimeDay or BFCM promotion.

FBA inventory liquidation

The next FBA inventory liquidation is scheduled for Aug. 15, when Amazon will charge long-term storage fees and monthly fees for some of the inventory.Rda Removals report helps sellers view old inventory, but inventory removed before August 15 must not be put back into storage until November unless the unit is "less than 8 weeks of use."

Changes amazon sellers need to make after Brexit

After the transition period from the EU, the UK will no longer be a member of the EU, which means that it will no longer enjoy preferential policies such as foreign trade and tariffs among EU countries.
